Wood and Faux Wood venetian blinds are a stylish and popular choice for dressing your windows.
They are very versatile allowing you to vary the amount of light coming into the room whilst also allowing a high degree of privacy when completely closed.
Manufactured utilising a strong metal headrail and supplied with a pelmet made to match the slatting, colour co-ordinated ‘ladder lace’ is standard along with a matching bottom bar. The overall effect is one of natural beauty.
In real wood slatted products there will be variations in the wood grain, texture and colour as these are natural characteristics of real wood blinds.
Faux Wood is manufactured from plastic materials, most notably PVC and as a result are an excellent choice in ‘high humidity’ areas like bathrooms and kitchens. In reality you can use them on every and any window in your home, as they are textured and coloured to give the ‘natural’ look of real wood, but with increased durability and resistance to moisture.

Available up to a maximum width of 240cm and a maximum drop of 240cm, wood and faux wood venetian blinds can cover most windows, although it should be noted that they are heavy in the larger sizes.
Adding the ‘ladder tape’ option can transform the look especially when done in a contrasting colour.
The price of a wood or faux wood venetian blind is dependent upon the width and drop required. The range from which the blind is chosen, and any options, for example ladder tape instead of ladder lace.
Just remember, both wood and faux wood blinds look great, both with and without any additional options.
